However within Photos (and Image Capture), I get a 'please unlock iPhone' message. When I unlock my iPhone, everything proceeds. While I do not get the 'unlock phone' nag from iPhoto, however, my photo library has been converted to use Photos. As per discussions at the Apple forums, I've reset my iPhone's network settings. I updated my ipad as well this morning and now image capture doesnt work on that either. So its definetly something to do with the latest update and my computer. Non of my photo apps work on import of photos. Its says ipad locked and iphone locked.but they are not locked. Image capture and iphoto says that. Switch on your iPhone; iTunes should then prompt you about the iPhone trusting the computer (instead of the iPhone prompting you) Confirm that you want to trust the computer; On the iPhone prompt that follows, also trust the computer; Hopefully the next time you attempt to use image capture/iPhoto/Photos to import photos you won't have a problem. The phone is unlocked (in the sense of the screen being unlocked) and Image Capture displays a message 'Please unlock ' and refuses to interact with the device any further. I tried the following things to no avail. That did not work for me. I have tried image capture as well as iphoto and neither one are even picking up that there are pictures on my phone; however, if I click on photos (on my phone–there are about 1400 pictures). I’m not sure why it showing my iphone however it says 0items.
